I love the social networking and classroom discussions. When attending the networking I met a lot of independent business owners and entrepreneurs. I went to a few events met a couple of cool people possible connections for the future. I’ve stayed in contact with a physical therapist, they announced that they were having a shadowing event to where I can shadow them and possibly gain an internship. This experience taught me to get out of my comfort zone and meet new and interesting people in the profession that I dream to work in. I learn most about myself that there are other aspects to just having a career. My Father always wanted to see my own business and with more business courses and opportunity, I see myself obtaining one. I learned from this course that it’s okay to have a dream and it’s even better to want to enhance that dream keep striving to be better and do better. Some advice that I would give a student coming after me is, don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and explore different areas of your profession. At the beginning of this course, I expected to do a few assignments and do a couple of exams and not learn life lessons and values but I was wrong. I plan on taking what I learned from this class and introducing what I learned to my younger sibling, peers and anyone interested in becoming successful.
