Founded in Carroll County in May of 2005 by Daren Cortese President and Owner. Now named Brinton Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center at Winfield, the facility has 60 beds and has a “home like” feel and a strong presence in the community for providing compassionate care for its residents. Throughout the course of time they have expanded to 5 rehabilitation hospitals to date

May of 2007 and is a 225-bed facility located in Northeast Baltimore. Brinton Woods Post Acute Care Center is adequately named for its high quality, highly complex, and diverse services it provides to residents.

2008, the Arlington West Nursing Facility became a part of the Brinton Woods family and is now named Brinton Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center at Arlington West. Located in Northwest Baltimore, this 82-bed facility was opened on the original site of the 1920 nursing home, one of the first nursing homes in the United States.

Brinton Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center at Dupont Circle was added to the Brinton Woods family in 2012. The team at this 180-bed facility works closely with several of the Washington, DC area hospitals to provide high quality acute care and rehabilitation services.

January of 2015, Brinton Woods purchased the Carolyn Boone Lewis Health Care Center, making it the fifth in its network of facilities. With this purchase, Brinton Woods expanded its network of care by providing 363 beds to serve the greater Washington, DC region
